Ok so im not normally a massive Ski contest fan, (i just feel you get a better representation of the sport when the athletes are free to express them selves with out worrying if there gona take home the bacon) but this contest is a little different! In-fact its quite amazing any enough of me check out the vids!

So Nine Knights is a ski event with a difference created by free skiing leg-end Nico Zacek, the idea being to bring together 9 of the best free skiers from around the globe (anyone see where the name Nine Knights might have come from) with the best photographers in the biz and some overly creative shapers to create an event most riders only fantasied about, comprising of stunningly crafted obstacles, mind blowing trickery and all in a format ideal for the happy snappers to get the best shots possible which with a backdrop like Nebelhornbahn, Germany should create a few stunning pics!

The best thing for me about this whole event is that A) the UK is representing on the world free ski stage and B) the phenomenal pictures that have been created through the combination of the shapers,  riders and ofcoarse the photographers:  Alo Belluscio - Italy, Stef Cande -  France, Klaus Polzer -  Germany, Johan Stahlberg -  Sweden and Pally Learmond -  UK check the pics out here NineKnights.com
